Isabis Gbeho Patient from Africa Share His Journey of Leukemia Treatment in India

 Isabis Gbeho patient from Africa didn’t anticipate a cancer prognosis last fall. He as unwell for few days and presumed it is flu. But while he developed a rash on his leg, Isabis went to the emergency branch at his local hospital. There he discovered that his white blood cell count was strangely high. Isabis’s physician diagnosed him with leukemia, a sort of blood cancer that results from an abnormal boom in his white blood cells.  With leukemia, white blood cells divide too rapid and crowd out other healthy cells, leaving the body vulnerable to infection.

Getting concerned by the reports, he decided to receive further consultation in Africa. After further investigation, he was diagnosed with Africa. After almost three months in India, the duo made their way back to their home country after their successful leukemia treatment in India. Now back in their home country Africa, the family is as happy as ever. “Doing laundry, spending time with my family was never as wonderful as it became after my diagnosis. This entire ordeal had made me appreciate life and the graces of God,” says Isabis. “Thank you for your tremendous help and support you gave us while we were in India, We were very well received by the team. I am very much humbled that each time we met the doctor they cleared all our doubts.”
